Rheumatoid arthritis is a debilitating long-term disease. It causes joints and muscles to be inflamed, which can result in a multitude of symptoms. Many people who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis just attribute it to “old age pain”. They don’t know that there are many different medications and treatments.

Here are 12 of the most common symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. If you exhibit any of these symptoms, be sure to talk with your doctor.

12. Stiffness

One of the  best known symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis is “Morning stiffness”. This occurs when the joints and muscles are stiffer in the morning, to the point that it can be impossible to walk or get out of bed. It can take rheumatoid arthritis suffers hours until they feel able to move comfortably.
